Comprising Marcus Tucker, Andrew Ramsey, Joshua Polk, Richard Evans, Brice Johnson, Lamont Chapman, Rachel Snider, Tyler Boyd-Meredith, and Noel Rodriguez, this extraordinary ensemble has joined forces to create and perform original, contemporary street dance that will leave you spellbound.
The Hood Lockers' work is an electric mix of foundational styles of Hip-Hop dance culture, with a unique and traditional approach to the iconic Campbell Locking style. By adding their own innovative concepts and mesmerizing moves, the team has elevated this art form, characterizing their distinctive understanding as "Hood" – a testament to their deep-rooted connection to the very essence of street dance.
The group's impressive resume boasts a wide array of prestigious credits, including appearances on shows like Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew, Step Up 3D, and So You Think You Can Dance (both in the US and Malaysia). But The Hood Lockers' impact extends far beyond the screen – they have also graced the stage as principle performers for the renowned Rennie Harris PureMovement's Funkedified and Lifted tours.
Most recently, the group made a captivating appearance on BET's American Soul, where they portrayed the iconic dance personas of The Lockers, showcasing their unparalleled talents and commanding presence.

Our History
The Hood Lockers formed in 2005 with a common purpose and enthusiasm for the first street dance that was created in the early 1970s by Don “Campbellock” Campbell. Many years were spent studying 'THE CAMPBELLOCK', footage of Don and The Lockers as individuals and as a unit. The hunger for a deeper understanding would take the group down a path of enrichment, education, and inspiration. This path included not only meeting and learning valuable lessons from iconic pioneers and leaders in the Locking community, but also to serve as educators, inspiration and influencers of this culture.
